A trip to MONA

May 1, 2013

Hobart is a historic city that's reinventing itself, especially in terms of its arts scene. This is largely due to its growing number of summer music and arts festivals, as well as the MONA museum which has come to be so cherished in Tasmania since opening its doors in 2011.

As part of our annual end of year celebration, The Lab decided to pay a visit to MONA's groundbreaking debut exhibition 'Theatre of the World'. This exhibition used pieces from Hobart's Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and was curated by international trailblazer Jean-Hubert Martin, who bucks traditional exhibition practice.

It was certainly an unforgettable visceral experience for all of us. Check out the pictures below...

A little sabrage action never hurt anyone (hmm, might have to double check that one)!

And finally, a toast to a great year and a fantastic one ahead.

Until next time, Tassie!
